Annual Reports
As EQT Foundation developed its long-term strategic direction, the annual reports became one of the most important tools for communicating its evolving focus, voice, and positioning, both internally and externally. More than just a reporting exercise, each edition served as a narrative anchor: capturing where the Foundation was going, what it stood for, and how it aimed to bring breakthroughs to market.
I led the creation of both the 2023 and 2024 EQT Foundation Annual Reports, managing the entire process from content strategy and copywriting to design direction and stakeholder engagement. These reports had wide-scale organisational impact, helping align internal teams, inspire external partners, and formalise EQT Foundation’s voice at a critical stage in its development.
My roles
Editorial Strategy & Narrative
• Designed the overall editorial structure and storytelling arc for each report, aligned with EQT Foundation’s strategic evolution.
• Created a clear, consistent tone of voice that reflected the Foundation’s ambition and values, applied across narratives, captions, and sidebars.
• Developed narrative frameworks to highlight key themes like investment philosophy, partnerships, impact ambitions, and scientific focus areas.
Full Writing and Editing Ownership
• Wrote all sections of the reports, including the about EQT Foundation, portfolio spotlights, feature spreads, and metrics explanations.
• Conducted internal and external (founders, researchers and scientists) interviews to generate original content across all thematic areas.
• Edited for clarity, tone, and strategic emphasis, ensuring every word reinforced the brand and vision.
Design and Production
• Oversaw visual storytelling and layout direction, working closely with designers to translate narrative into a clean, engaging visual format.
• Gave detailed feedback on pacing, hierarchy, and readability to ensure accessibility without losing sophistication.
• Managed timelines and deliverables from drafting through final export.
Organisational and Strategic Impact
• Used the reports to help codify and communicate EQT Foundation’s strategy, serving as a shared reference point across teams.
• Helped align internal stakeholders through the process, building consensus on language, priorities, and messaging.
• Developed templates and best practices that shaped future content outputs, including the Founder Report and EQT ThinQ pieces.
